is powerfully positive.

“Resilience is very different than being numb. Resilience means you experience, you feel, you fail, you hurt. You fall. But, you keep going.” — Yasmin Mogahed

Your mental health journey should be all about you.

Finding the right fit for your psychiatric provider can be difficult. It's crucial to find someone with whom you feel safe and connected. We value the client relationship and approach each session with an open mind, respect, and a genuine desire to help. We enjoy working with all ages and, especially those once turned off by mental health treatment. After nearly ten years of working in various mental health settings including crisis intervention, and inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, Ashley decided to begin a private practice.

At Resilient Psychiatry, the most important goal is for the client to always feel heard. Why is this the number one, most important goal? Because all too often new clients report, “I just didn’t feel like they were listening. I never felt like I had a voice or that my opinion mattered.”

Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners provide comprehensive medication management that includes brief (30-45 minutes), supportive, solution-focused therapy for folks aged 8-65+ in Maryland through telehealth and in-person appointments at our private office.

Our therapists provide individual, family, group, and couple’s therapy utilizing various treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, Trauma Reduction, and more.
